Boehringer Ingelheim is pleased to announce that the company has joined the International Poultry Council as its new Associate Member. International Poultry Council is a member-driven organization comprised of national sector associations, poultry businesses and other key industry stakeholders. It’s members represent more than 88 percent of the world poultry meat production and 95 percent of the global poultry meat trade.
International Poultry Council commits to:
- bring together poultry industry stakeholders from across the globe to build relationships and gain a better understanding of shared challenges;
- represent the whole value chain from farm to fork, from genetics to consumption;
- create a pre-competitive agenda that leverages the strengths and resources of national organizations;
- speak as a unified and harmonized voice of the poultry sector.
At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are strongly committed to the long-term success of the poultry industry globally and this membership will enable us to participate, even more strongly, in advocating for the importance of and trust in poultry products around the world. With our products and services as well as our work in this critical sector, we aim to continue to contribute to feeding the world with safe, affordable, abundant and sustainable high quality poultry meat and eggs. “We are very proud to be part of International Poultry Council which brings together poultry industry stakeholders and represents a unified and harmonized voice of the poultry sector. Its mission fits well with our commitment to shape the future of poultry well-being and health through disease prevention,” shares Jérôme Baudon, Global Head of Poultry at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.
